Overcoming Barriers to Selling a Tenant-Occupied Property (Tia Politi)
Are you looking to buy, sell or broker a tenant-occupied property? This class will cover the barriers you are likely to encounter and provide specific, detailed information on how to overcome them. Join us for a fast-paced two-hour class that provides ideas solutions to common issues such as: (1) Ways to gain the tenant’s cooperation in the process; (2) Dealing with unreasonable denial of entry; (3) Tenancy termination options before, during, and after, including no-cause, for-cause, and Qualifying Landlord Reasons; (4) Supporting facts, relocation expenses, and service of notice; (5) Addressing issues of waiver, insurance and dealing with property management; (6) Cash for keys agreements; (7) Paperwork pitfalls; (8) Broker responsibilities.

The Dark Side of Property Management: Death of Sole Tenant, Domestic Violence (Christian Bryant)
Learn how to deal with the death of a sole tenant and domestic violence within your rental unit. Not knowing the proper way to handle these situations can be very costly. In most cases, you won't have time to learn about the requirements until after the fact -- and still be able to meet the legally required time limits. This course will cover the laws surrounding these situations and teach you the best way to handle them, including the proper forms to use.

Legislative Update and Live Q&A with Speakers (Violet Wilson)
This 2023 Legislative Update will keep you on top of the most recent changes in the rental housing law, assisting you as housing provider and property manager to stay legal and out of court!
