Instructor: Violet Wilson

Violet Wilson is the "V" in V & R Management. Violet is Oregon licensed and works full-time as a property manager. Violet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science from San Jose State University and a Masters of Science in Education from Western Oregon University. She was a high school teacher for over 34 years in California and Oregon schools. V & R Management, LLC has operated since 1990, specializing in single family home rentals but they have managed all types of properties.

Violet is a past vice president of Oregon Rental Housing Association, the current chair of the ORHA Education Committee, the current ORHA Secretary, and serves on the ORHA Legislative Action Committee. Since 2008, she has taught property management classes for local and the state housing provider associations. In addition, she has volunteered to teach classes to help tenants become better residents.

Topics will include:

1. Difference between statutes and regulations.

2. License law and administrative rule changes affecting real estate licensees.

3. Changes brought by recent law changes.

4. Requirements for continuing education, license renewal, and transfer of license.

5. Discrimination regulations.

Register online and watch at your own home or work computer, even your phone. Chat box will allow you to ask questions directly to the instructor and to sign in each hour for the CE requirements. Camera and Microphone will be disabled for all participants.
