of Property Management
There are a number of miscellaneous type of issues that are often not covered in property management classes. This seminar’s aim is to address those issues and bring to light the things that are often passed over or not taught at all.
Topics include: temporary residents, occupancy standards, contracts with minors, abandoned property, death of a tenant, roommates, and adding or deleting a tenant.
Join the ROA-SWO as Violet Wilson teaches us all of the odds and ends of property management.
Violet Wilson is the "V" in V & R Management. Violet is Oregon licensed and works full-time as a property manager. Violet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science from San Jose State University and a Masters of Science in Education from Western Oregon University. She was a high school teacher for over 36 years in California and Oregon schools.
V & R Management, LLC has operated since 1990, specializing in single-family home rentals but they have managed all types of properties.
Violet is a past vice president of the Oregon Rental Housing Association, current chair of the ORHA Education Committee, and serves on the ORHA Legislative Action Committee. Since 2008, she has taught property management classes for local and state housing provider associations. In addition, she has volunteered to teach classes to help tenants become better residents.
