The replay of the Webinar will be available for 30-days – This email will be sent out within two weeks of the class. To receive CE credits, you must sign in at the beginning, middle, and end of the live webinar. CE Credits cannot be given if you do not attend the live presentation and just watch the webinar. CE Credits will be emailed within two weeks of the class.
Instructor: Violet Wilson
Violet Wilson is the "V" in V & R Management. Violet is Oregon licensed and works full-time as a property manager. Violet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science from San Jose State University and a Master of Science in Education from Western Oregon University. She was a high school teacher for over 34 years in California and Oregon schools. V & R Management, LLC has operated since 1990, specializing in single family home rentals but they have managed all types of properties.
Violet is the past chair of the ORHA Education Committee and serves on the ORHA Legislative Action Committee. Since 2008, she has taught property management classes for local and the state housing provider associations. In addition, she has volunteered to teach classes to help tenants become better residents.
Inspections
- Are an important part of doing property management
- Can catch problems before they get worse
- Indicate to a tenant the type of condition you expect the property to be maintained.
This presentation will cover a landlord’s rights in doing inspections, notices to be given, and procedures to follow during inspections. In addition, tenant duties versus landlord responsibilities will be reviewed.
