Any course material handouts and the course attendance link will be emailed approximately 1 hour prior to the start of the webinar to join in.

**To receive CE credits you MUST attend the live webinar AND sign-in at the beginning of the webinar and at the end in the side bar as well as provide your RE license #. You will be e-mailed your CE Credits within 7 days from end of webinar. CE credits will be issued by Central Oregon Rental Owners Association.


Tia is a licensed property manager with more than 18 years of management experience in both private and subsidized housing. She serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Lane County Rental Owners Association, and she Chairs the Programming, Bulletin and Education Committees.
She is President of the Oregon Rental Housing Association, a Chair on the Forms Committee and serves as Secretary for ORHA Education, Inc., another non-profit dedicated to providing impartial fact-based education to both renters and housing providers.
Tia volunteers as an instructor for St. Vincent de Paul's 'Second Chance" program, helping renters with poor history overcome barriers to obtaining shelter. A few years ago she created a high school curriculum for high school seniors on the rights, risks and responsibilities of tenancy. Her goal is to get this essential life skills education to all students throughout the state of Oregon.
Tia owns and operates Rental Housing Support Services, LLC, providing education, landlord helpline services, consultation, and support services to housing providers.

With increasing restrictions on termination of tenancy, landlords need to know how to legally enforce the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. This class covers:
- Documenting violations
- Selecting the proper form
- Termination for cause
- Termination without cause
- Repeat violations
- Three strikes in a lease
- Creating a plan of action
- Reasonable accommodation & lease violations
- Proper language in your notice
By the end of this course, attendees will be able to identify violations of the lease or tenant duties outlined in ORS 90, know how to document the violations, select the correct notice, create a binding plan of action and see it through, develop a process for tenant non-compliance that ensures violations are dealt with equitably, and know when to move forward with termination of tenancy.
